"Dealing with My Father's Estate"
After my dad passed away, I took on the role of Estate Executor, which means I’ve got to sort out his affairs, including the mortgage on the house. The first person I talked to was really hard to understand, and I ended up having to give him options, which took my brother about a minute to reply to.

I've made ten calls now, and all I want is to make a payment and change my name since they’ve already got all the required documents. But now they want me to hop online and sift through over 3,000 forms, download them myself, and they won’t even send them to me.

I’m really let down by their lackluster customer service. It’s just plain frustrating to see how little help they’re willing to offer. I’m thinking I might just pay off the rest and get out of here as soon as I can actually talk to someone properly, if that’s even a possibility.

What’s funny is I thought I’d find a local branch or a rep in Seattle, but it looks like this company runs more like a financial institution or some kind of plastic Supermax prison.

"My father passed away."
My father passed away and I am the Estate Executor, responsible for handling his affairs, including the house mortgage. The first person I spoke to was barely able to speak clearly and I had to provide him with options, which took my brother about 60 seconds to respond to.

I have now made 10 calls and all I want to do is make a payment and update my name, as they have already received all the necessary documents. However, they are now asking me to go online and search through over 3,000 forms, download them myself, and they refuse to send them to me.

I am most disappointed with their unimpressive customer service. It is frustrating to see how little assistance they are willing to provide. I think I will just pay off the remaining balance and leave as soon as I can communicate with them properly, if that is even possible.

What's ironic is that I actually expected to find a local branch or representative in Seattle, but it seems like this company operates more like a financial institution or a plastic Supermax prison.

"This place uses misleading ads and doesn't respond well to customer questions."
My wife and I had dealt with PNC Bank before, so we thought it’d be a good idea to apply for a personal loan with them. Boy, were we wrong! From the get-go, PNC messed up a bunch of things, turning what should’ve been a quick 48-hour process into a long 10-day ordeal. The staff seemed totally clueless, giving us wrong info about interest rates. In the end, the rates we got were way higher than what they initially told us.

We even tried lowering the loan amount, thinking it might help us snag a better rate, but guess what? The rate went up instead! It’s pretty well-known that less risk should lead to a better rate, but PNC just didn’t seem to care about that. When I asked them about it, they just said they couldn’t explain because they use some secret method to set rates. They depend on computer algorithms and won’t talk about the results with customers. Plus, every time I asked to talk to a supervisor, I was either told they were gone for the day or just not around.

The customer service at PNC was nearly nonexistent, and they kept making mistake after mistake without any real explanations. After this awful experience, we’ve decided we won’t be doing any business with this bank again.

"Russian-Americans were really wowed by this eatery's quality."
I faced a real struggle with banking services during the Crimea conflict, and now, once again, with the ongoing Ukrainian war. PNC, I gotta say, I'm super let down by you!

"This establishment engages in deceptive advertising tactics and fails to provide satisfactory responses to customer inquiries."
My wife and I had previous experiences with PNC Bank, so we decided to apply for a personal loan with them. However, it turned out to be a big mistake! Right from the start, PNC made numerous errors, causing what was supposed to be a 48-hour process to stretch out to 10 days. The staff members were completely incompetent, providing us with incorrect information about interest rates. In the end, the rates we were given were significantly higher than what we had been told.

We even reduced the loan amount in hopes of getting a better rate, but to our surprise, the rate actually increased! It's common knowledge that less risk and exposure should result in a better rate, but PNC seemed to disregard this principle. When I questioned them about this, they simply stated that they couldn't provide any answers because they use a proprietary method to determine rates. They rely on computer algorithms and refuse to discuss the outcome with customers. Furthermore, whenever I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was either told that they had all left for the day or were unavailable.

The customer service provided by PNC was practically non-existent, and they continued to make mistake after mistake without offering any explanations. After this terrible experience, we have decided that we will never attempt to do business with this institution again.

"A New Antique Piece That Brings Joy to My Home"
I just brought a lovely piece into my collection of vintage furniture, and I gotta say, it’s been a real treat for my place. As someone who loves collecting, I’m always hunting for unique and well-made items, and this one definitely checks all the boxes. The craftsmanship is top-notch, with detailed work and a stunning finish that really highlights the talent of the artisans behind it. Not only does it elevate the elegance of my living area, but it also sparks some great conversations too. On another note, I recently tried to add my elderly mother to her account, and I’ve been trying to get into mobile banking for over a month now, but no luck. Their system seems to be acting up, and it’s been one problem after another. I’ve taken time off work and made countless calls, but I can’t keep pouring time into PNC. We’ve decided to move to a different bank, and I highly suggest anyone reading this do the same.

"Starting a New Job: The Direct Deposit Dilemma"
Getting your first paycheck deposited on time when you start a new gig can be a real pain. In my past jobs with a couple of different firms, every newbie I chatted with got their direct deposit on Thursdays. But with PNC, it seems like they take until the next week to get it sorted out. This hold-up is super annoying and doesn’t make much sense, especially since it’s just a deposit. Using risk as a reason for the wait? That’s just plain ridiculous.

"Whenever you transition to a new job..."
When transitioning to a new job, receiving your first direct deposit in a timely manner can be quite a hassle. In my previous experiences with two different companies, every new employee I spoke to received their direct deposit on Thursday, while PNC, unfortunately, takes until the following week to process it. This delay is both frustrating and illogical, especially considering it is just a deposit. Using the excuse of risk as a reason for the delay is simply absurd.

"PNC's customer support is just plain awful."
Dealing with PNC is just absurd. Their support is a total joke, the sneaky fees are insane, and I can't wrap my head around why it takes more than 6 days for transactions to go through. I'm really done with this.

"Can't use my debit card at all!"
I opened a new account since I needed one and was keen on a high-yield savings account (HYSA). Living far from any physical branch, I thought it wouldn't be a hassle. But boy, was I wrong!

The first card I got couldn't be activated because I wasn't sure if I had set a PIN. I never got the mail with the PIN, neither for the first card nor the second one they sent. This has dragged on for about two months now. Luckily, I finally managed to activate the card, but I can only use it when a PIN isn't required, which is pretty rare.

I was on hold for half an hour trying to reach a manager, but had to hang up when another call came in. I can only guess their reply would’ve been something like, "We'll send you a new card, and it should be here in 3-7 business days =D," which they've already told me several times.

At this point, I've made up my mind to close the whole account because this level of mishap is just not okay for a big company.

"This company is a total letdown for a global giant."
I had a rough time dealing with them lately, and it was a total mess. Their customer support was basically nonexistent, with rude reps who didn’t seem to know anything about their own products. The quality of what they sell is just awful, with poor craftsmanship and cheap materials. It’s really disheartening to see such a well-known brand put out such low-quality stuff. I’d definitely recommend steering clear of this company.

"Regrets About Ignoring My Banker's Advice..."
I really ought to have paid attention to my banker's caution when they subtly suggested I should "hide my cash in my mattress!" Somehow, I managed to burn through 50k in just four months! Every time I make a big purchase, the date of the transaction seems to change outta nowhere, and the same amount gets deducted again! Then, when I go back to check the original transaction date, it’s totally gone! It’s pretty clear that someone with the ability to change dates in the PNC system might be involved in some shady business! This problem has been going on ever since PNC joined forces with that other bank.
